The sensual, the juicy, the physical have been at the center of my work as a sex educator and sex worker for over 10 years . In sessions and workshops I lead people on their way into physical experiences.

My previous understanding of it was, “there’s someone lying still and I’m telling an erotic suggestion story,” something that happens “only in the imagination.” For this reason, I had not been particularly interested in erotic hypnosis until now.
Someone that I hold in very high regard – Undine de Rivière – along with her partner organizes online workshops and meetings for the erotic hypnosis community in German-speaking countries under the label Hypnokink.de. I feel very close to my colleague Undine, a lightning-smart, experienced and stunning figure in the field of sex work. With her expertise, intelligence and diversity, she was one of my first role models for my own work. In BesD e.V.we have both been involved in the efforts of the whore movement for years. Because everything Undine tackles is in my experience not only of high quality but also really worthwhile, it was clear: I want to know what they’re doing over there!
Recently when the opportunity arose for me to participate together with my partner* in the seminars “Erotic Hypnosis I + II” of Hypnokink.de, I was on board. My expectations were more than exceeded.
Thanks to the good balance between practice and theory, the well-structured approach and excellent time management, but above all because of the generosity with which Undine and her partner share their profound knowledge with the workshop participants, I benefited from an exceptional experience and learning space this weekend. And all online!
Above all, I realized that trance states are universally present and can be made useful in very different ways. That the body is by no means “left out” in erotic hypnosis, but on the contrary can be sensed even more intensively. I can sort of create a “virtual reality” – so that through focus, direction and immersion – all qualities that I also use intensively in my work – a special magic is created.
I have learned that I can include trance states in my physical games via waking trances and posthypnotic triggers, for example. Spacy and exciting!
Both Undine and her partner demonstrated live how they enter trance themselves and conveyed several times how they personally use hypnosis in everyday life. This generous intimacy in the delivery style has allowed me personally to have a very connected and intense learning experience in a short period of time. I could literally get a picture of how deep you can go with hypnosis.
I always had the feeling with both of them that they knew exactly where they were – they were extremely well prepared and gave an incredible amount of input. There was still always enough space and time for participants to get actively involved, to ask questions and to share feedback. Experiencing Undine’s incredibly sexy presence as a workshop leader was the icing on the cake.
During this weekend, I was able to gain deep insights into the topic in a short time, both for everyday life and for plays and sessions.
Above all, I have understood how I myself can also intensify this part of my work. I was always aware that I also work with so-called “states of trance”. The whole approach I take with people, both in sessions and in teaching, has a lot to do with trance states.
My method of working is also spiritual – using techniques from tantra, contemplation, meditation, inner orientation and narrowing of focus – so actually already strongly connected with trance states. Good dominance also comes from building rapport – the ability to “bind” the other person to me in a short period of time.
During sessions and in plays, states of trance develop quite automatically anyway. I find it incredibly touching to be able to specifically increase and influence these states of rapport and attachment using erotic hypnosis.
The excellent teaching of Undine and her partner gave me a great insight and a lot of new material to be able to connect with people more deeply and to play with them more intensively. This new insights will accompany me in the future, both in my work and in my own teachings.
